Jason proposed in August of 2021. He asked Crystal to go to dinner and then to have a picnic by the lake, an area that was very sentimental to her. This was the exact location where she first saw a picture of Austin that made her fall in love with living there. Tears were flowing well before the actual proposal. Jason got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Of course, Crystal said yes! Soon after, they began planning their colorful spring wedding at Camp Lucy.
When they walked into Camp Lucy for the first time, they knew this was our dream venue! We loved the architecture, history and just how uniquely beautiful everything was! It was the perfect backdrop for their colorful spring wedding.
Crystal and Jason’s favorite memory of the day was seeing all of their friends and family during the ceremony! Most of their wedding guests are from the northeast, so seeing everyone travel so far for them was pretty incredible. They felt so loved! Crystal says, “We know how much of a sacrifice it was for many people so seeing everyone so happy for us was just an indescribable feeling.”
The design was the statement of this colorful spring wedding at Camp Lucy. From bold bouquets, to an amazing floral seating chart designed by Design to Flourish. Everyone was obsessed! In the reception space, the dance floor was accented by an installation of greenery and disco balls. The tables were adorned with bright blooms and elegant place settings. The florals in general by Claudia over at Whim Hospitality were just incredible, she really made the couple’s vision come to life!
“Weddings bring out a lot of emotions in general, some even that are unexpected. You’ll sometimes find things you didn’t care about before planning a wedding all of sudden become more emotional than you thought. Our advice is figure out your biggest priorities together, don’t let outside voices influence what you want deep down, and always remember to be a team throughout this process.”
One of the reasons Crystal chose Bianca Nichole & Co is because she really connected with the team. “It felt truly like talking to a friend and that’s what I was looking for. I think it’s really important to have people on your side your truly enjoy working with! There is no question that Bianca went above and beyond for us and we are truly so appreciative of all her team’s efforts during our wedding day & prior! One of the most stand out things that happened during our day was my brother ripped his pants minutes before walking down the aisle. Unsure how Bianca did this, but she came running back in with a pair of pants she was able to find with seconds to spare!”
“I never felt like I was just another couple on their list. I always felt valued & important despite our wedding being over a year away when we hired Bianca Nichole & Co. I always felt that the team was so excited for us & that was a great feeling!”
