Mae’s Ridge is a mid century modern farmhouse venue located in the Wedding Capital of Texas, Dripping Springs. Joell and Rick, the owners, dreamt of the venue in 2019, while originally searching for land to open an airstream hotel. After seeing the incredible 360 hill country views, they knew they needed to build a wedding venue instead. The couple also loves entertaining, so it was a perfect fit! Mae’s Ridge hosted its first wedding in November 2019, right before Covid. They had only 5 weddings prior to the big shut down

Quick Facts
Aside from the breathtaking views, Mae’s Ridge has several other inclusions and amenities for couples to enjoy. There are two getting ready suites on site. One is separate from the main reception hall, and contains a pool table, shuffleboard, vintage arcade games and a TV. The other suite is right off the reception hall and is perfect for hair and makeup teams to set up and glam the wedding party! There is also an additional wedding party/vendor room, that can be used as additional space for the wedding party, or for vendors to utilize.

In the main reception hall, there is a built in bar that services both the indoor space as well as the outdoor courtyard. The courtyard features a covered patio, several picnic tables and swings and turf that is perfectly maintained by the venue staff!

There are several ceremony sites available for use. The Grove features a permanent gold square arch that can be customized to match any wedding decor. The Pavilion serves as another great ceremony location, whether as a Plan A, or Plan B in case of rain!

Mae’s Ridge comfortable hosts up to 250 guests. The rental includes 250 white folding chairs, as well as 250 custom rattan chairs to seat your guests. Additionally, they have many 60″ round tables for your guests to be seated at, as well as several smaller round tables and rectangle tables for your cake, buffet, water station, etc.
With their modern design, you can choose any style for your wedding! From boho, to classic, to bold and colorful, Mae’s Ridge is the perfect backdrop. Since Mae’s Ridge is located on a large piece of land, there is not shortage or beautiful photo opportunities.

Mae’s Ridge Vendor Policy
To make your wedding at Mae’s Ridge complete, you’ll need to bring in some additional outside vendors, such as a caterer, bartenders, photographer, rentals, etc. Mae’s Ridge has a list of preferred vendors they are happy to provide their couples with to help the search. They do require couples to choose from their approved list of caterers and bartenders.

Leave it all up to the professionals! Hiring a professional vendor team is always going to pay off. A couple and their families should not be setting up and breaking down their own wedding. Sit back, let loose, and have fun!
