Kaley and Rolly’s colorful fall wedding was a perfect blend of sophisticated and fun. We worked with the couple for over a year to bring their vision to life. From choosing the perfect shade of plum, to organizing all the personal details that made the day unique – their day couldn’t have been more special!

Rolly and Kaley met in high school through mutual friends. Eventually, they got to know each other and started dating and then went to Texas State together. They have been together for about 10 years now!

Rolly’s plan was to take Kaley by her favorite mural in Dallas and propose there. Since it was so hot that weekend, and they’d been walking around all day, Kaley said no when he asked if she’d like to take a photo. When they got back home, they were sitting on couch together when Rolly asked what Kaley what she was going to wear for dinner. When she answered, he asked me if I thought ‘it’ would match. Of course, Kaley was confused and asked “match what?” That’s when Rolly pulled out the ring and proposed. She was totally shocked, and was surprised again when they arrived at their dinner reservation to find a party with both of their families waiting for them.
Kaley and Rolly really wanted to get married somewhere that was very clean and classic, but still had modern elements. The Grand Lady was the perfect fit for their colorful fall wedding. One of Kaley’s favorite movie moments growing up is in Steel Magnolias, where everyone is getting ready for the wedding in the house, and the wedding is in the backyard. The home at Grand Lady immediately evoked that feeling. “It felt cozy and warm and gave the intimate feeling that we wanted our wedding to have.” The reception space is clean and modern, but still felt so warm and complimentary to the rest of the venue.
Kaley really enjoyed the flow of the entire day. “Having Bianca and her team execute that alongside our vendors made it feel so smooth. It gave us the time to take it all in and have it be really special. Some of my favorite parts of the day were getting ready in the house with everyone, and getting excited before we all walked down the aisle.” Kaley also loved walking down the aisle because the song choice was a surprise for Rolly. Another favorite was being able to see the decor come together, and seeing all of the people they love get to see it come to life.
One of BNCo’s favorite moments was revealing the reception space to Kaley and Rolly! Their reactions were priceless.
Of course, the florals were absolutely stunning. BNCo and Carrington from The Farmer and I worked hand in hand with Kaley to design the perfect florals. “My bouquet and aisle arches were truly a work of art. We were able to create something that felt totally new and fresh and not just a recreation of something I saw online. It felt more connected to my personal style and vision.”
Carrington went above and beyond to bring the vision to life. Her work blew the couple (and us!) away. Kaley felt like Carrington went above and beyond to bring her dreams together, and also exceeded what she had envisioned. Every choice delighted and surprised her. The bouquets, aisle arches, table florals and seating chart/welcome florals were all slightly different, while still being complimentary. They were just utterly gorgeous and lush, and made the day look like a colorful fall wedding fairytale!
The table layout was another perfect moment. Bianca and Kaley spent a lot of time discussing how to bring the vision in Kaley’s head to life. They focused on bringing all the different elements together and compliment one another. The varying candles, florals, napkins, vases, plates and flatware were all chosen carefully. Kaley still drools over the design when she looks back at the photos!
In addition to the florals and rentals, we also added disco balls and streamers above the dance floor. These features made the room come to life in a fun way, making it feel like a real party.
“Really consider what is important for you to make the day feel special and unique to you and your partner. Prioritize your choices based on that North Star. Comparison is the thief of joy. Once your choices are truly locked in, stay offline on all things wedding for a while otherwise you’ll start to second guess your choices or get FOMO on seeing something you love, but isn’t in the cards for you.”
“The internet shows us so many incredible weddings, but they’re not talking about how much time, planning, and funding goes into what you’re seeing. Don’t get caught up in what your wedding ‘won’t be’ or what you ‘can’t have’ because it’s not realistic or affordable. Focus on the things you both love and what will represent you best within your budget. Remind yourself what the day is truly about and don’t obsess about being ‘on trend’ or having the ‘perfect IG wedding.'”
“I originally found Bianca Nichole and Co through the preferred coordinator list for my venue. Out of everyone I saw, BNCo’s quality work and authentic warmth really drew me in. I just felt like Bianca and her team would be a true partner to me and not just a service. BNCo’s work also felt more personal than the other options that were presented to me. You could just feel the care and passion that was clearly there, and Bianca’s story and personal investment of her company made me know I could trust her 100% to make our day special.”
“I was surprised at how involved Bianca was from start to finish. Her team plans and coordinates SO many weddings so I was shocked at how much I actually would connect and talk with Bianca to make sure I was always in the loop and always having a say in even the smallest of details. I also really appreciated how she showed up and advocated with me for every vendor. She came to every meeting, made suggestions and asked questions I would never even think of, and in the final hours she continued to bring small details to life that really just made my heart burst. My wedding could not have been what it was without BNCo, and working with the team was one the best parts about the whole experience.”
