Dreamy Garden Wedding at Wish Well House
Lexi and Tanner’s love story came to life at Wish Well House, in Georgetown, Texas, where they hosted their loved ones at their dreamy garden wedding.
How it all began
Lexi and Tanner’s love story began online, just before the pandemic in 2020. As they spent more time with each other during the lockdown, they knew their connection was something truly special. On their anniversary, Tanner planned an entire day of their favorite things. They started with breakfast at Lexi’s favorite restaurant, and headed to a park for a picnic. During the picnic, Lexi heard a camera shutter click and looked over to see a good friend of theirs not far away with a camera in hand! When she looked back to Tanner, he was getting down on one knee.
To kick off wedding planning, Lexi and Tanner set out to find the perfect venue for their big day. Wish Well House, with its historic charm and modern elegance, immediately stole their hearts. The venue’s unique blend of old-world character and contemporary style provided the perfect space. Wish Well House is stunning its own, but enough of a blank slate to be customized for their dreamy wedding day. Situated in historic downtown Georgetown, it offered the convenience of hosting pre-wedding events close by, making it an even more appealing choice.
Personal Touches and Intimate Moments
Lexi, a talented bridal hair and makeup artist and owner of Luxe by Lexi, cherished the moments leading up to the ceremony. Surrounded by her closest friends and family, she felt like a mini celebrity, adding to her excitement as she prepared to walk down the aisle. One of their favorite aspects of the day was the private vows and snack session post-ceremony, allowing them a precious moment alone to soak in the joy of being husband and wife.
Tanner, on the other hand, found immense joy in seeing his beautiful bride walk down the aisle. The genuine laughter and camaraderie with his groom’s party added to the special moments of the day. Of course, another one of Tanner’s highlight was the dance party. Throughout the planning process, the party was one of Tanner’s duties, and he did a great job! The couple, along with their guests, danced the night away – a perfect ending to their dreamy wedding day.
Dreamy Wedding Decor
Lexi and Tanner spared no expense in creating a visually stunning atmosphere for their guests. Florals played a significant role in their dreamy wedding design, and they entrusted Stems to bring their floral dreams to life. One of the standout features was a floating floral installation, creating a dreamy ambiance under which the couple and their guests danced all night long. The candles and bud vases along the table were the perfect touch to tie the whole day together.
