When Max tried to propose to Kaypee, several of his plans fell through. The couple was visiting a castle in Heidelberg, Germany and Max had planned out exactly where he was going to propose, but the area he planned to propose was closed off. He then tried for his Plan B spot, and that was also closed. After having no luck scoping out a few other spots he had for Plan C, D, AND E while they toured the scenes, he proposed on the side of a mountain in a beautiful remote mossy area of forest. It ended up being perfect for the couple!
From the start, Kaypee and Max knew they wanted an eclectic vintage wedding and we wanted it in a place that provided juxtaposition to that. South Congress Hotel’s industrial design has a ton of wood accents that worked to highlight the vintage aspects of the wedding. The venue was also in a great location with plenty of restaurants and entertainment for our out of town guests to walk to.
Kaypee’s favorite memory was when Max had a Magic Mike moment on the dance floor, and gave her a show while she sat at the head table! Max loved their first look and running around taking pictures together on South Congress.
Kaypee is a cross-stitch pro, and handmade their table numbers and ceremony backdrop piece. Combined with the stunning florals from The Flowered Blue, the eclectic, vintage design fell into place perfectly.
Our favorite piece of Kaypee and Max’s wedding day was their seating chart. The couple wrote a personal note to each guest. It was so sweet seeing the guests surprise as they saw their letter and could feel how much the couple appreciated their presence!
“There were so many times Bianca, our wedding planner, through our 15 months of planning, went past the call of duty. Our florist, Mabry, was the only florist we met with who sent a proposal including visuals so we could make sure our vision aligned with her style before hiring her. Blake with Premier Austin DJs, didn’t complain at all when, a week before the wedding, we had to change our song list. Kirsten Holliday, our photographer, flew in from Nashville after her unexpected move to take our photos. We felt very fortunate to have all of our vendors! It is because of them that our day was perfect!” – Kaypee, bride
“Hire Bianca Nichole & Co!! Having a wedding planner by your side who will advocate for you, help you hone in on your design and the vendors who bring it to life, and support you when you need to vent is priceless! Two people asked us for advice this weekend on planning their upcoming weddings and this was the first thing out of our mouths. Seriously.
We interviewed a handful of wedding planners. All of them were great but only BNCo felt like the 100% right choice for us. We knew our planner had other couples, but when she was talking to us, we felt like we were her focus. Her personality made us comfortable, which we thought would come in handy for someone who would be as involved as she was in planning one of the most important days of our lives. She asked questions that made us feel she would anticipate our needs or even help us with important things we would have never thought about. All of that proved true over the following 15 months!
We were surprised by how often we would say “we should ask Bianca about this” and somehow, as if she read our mind, Bianca would tell us the answer to our question without us asking it! Also, outside of knowing BNCO has everything covered, every member of the team is an amazing person.”
