Many couples know what they like, but aren’t quite sure how to tie it all together. Maybe you love the latest boho trend, but also love classic white roses and greenery. We’ll help you narrow down what resonates with you the most, and make sure it all ties in together to create a beautiful wedding day and a seamless design. This doesn’t mean you have to go all out and spend tons on decor. We work with all styles, from the most minimal and simplistic to fun and funky. We’ll create a custom design board for you to visualize the whole day, from your welcome table, to your ceremony site, and all the way to your guests place settings. On top of creating your design board, we provide specific vendor recommendations. This means if you see a lounge set on your design board that you have to have, we’ll tell you exactly where to get it.
Your wedding planner will be the first vendor you hire, or come second after your venue. This means we will be with you every step of the way. Since the average couple doesn’t plan events or weddings for a living, the planning process will be full of new things you’ve never have done before, which means you will have tons of questions! Your wedding planner is by your side to help with each step. We are able to guide you on ceremony start time based on your photos needed and sunset time, whether to do a plated dinner or buffet, explain the difference between a head or a king’s table, and the list goes on. As your wedding planner we serve as an unbiased but honest opinion. Sometimes it can be tricky asking family or friends for their thoughts. Everyone can have a different opinion, and it’s hard to decide what works best for you as a couple. Wedding planners will help you sort through all the advice and opinions you’re bound to receive along the way, and often times can advise you on how to politely decline an idea you aren’t a fan of, too!
Last but not least, wedding planners will oversee the entire wedding day. Your wedding planner will typically be the first vendors on site, other than hair and makeup. We oversee everything from vendor set-up, to guiding you through formalities and monitoring break-down at the end of the night. Wedding planners will pin your boutonnieres on, and fluff your wedding dress and veil one last time before you head down the aisle. If anything pops up throughout the day that you, a vendor, family member or friend needs help with, your wedding planner will be there to take care of it. For example, we come with a full “emergency kit,” stocked with your basic first aid kit, a stain removing pen, mini sewing kit, and even some snacks, just in case.
