Blaire and Blake’s wedding was the definition of a perfect Fall wedding in Texas. Their floral palette was full of Fall colors and personal details with lots of branded leather perfect for a Texas wedding.
From knowing each other in high school, to falling in love after graduation, Blake finally proposed to Blaire on a skiing trip. After taking family photos, the couple got ready to pose for a picture, when Blake got down on one knee. Little did Blaire know, he had been planning this for a while! Blaire’s family knew it was coming, and kept them on the edges of their seats for a couple months before the big moment. Blaire’s dad almost spilled the secret once or twice! Luckily, she didn’t catch on.
Fast forward a few months later, and the pair tied the knot on a beautiful October afternoon at The Rustic Chandelier. Seriously the weather was the most perfect that day! When they drove up to the venue for their tour, Blaire knew from first sight that it was a special venue. The owners treated the couple as if they were family from the moment they met. Blaire loved their relaxed schedule, rustic feel and overall vibe of the space. Before walking down the aisle, Donna, one of the venue owners, sat with Blaire, holding her hand and talking to her as if she were her own daughter. Talk about a sweet moment!
Though the day went by way too fast, Blaire said one of her favorite moments was when she was walking down the aisle. Looking ahead to her family, friends, soon-to-be husband, and soon-to-be in laws, she soaked up every moment she could. We always tell our couples to walk slow, and this is why! Blaire says that in this moment, she felt so loved by those around her, and was so happy to be in love. To make this moment even more special, Blake’s grandpa, Popi, married the couple. His grandparents and Blaire have a wonderful relationship, and she says they are always there to take care of her and make her laugh.
As far as details of the day go, Blaire loved her flowers and food trucks! Her florist, Brooke Domel, did such a wonderful job that Blaire wishes she could have her flowers in her house, 24/7 – and we do too! If you haven’t noticed the pattern here yet… this wedding was entirely made up of ‘B’s. That’s right! All of Blaire + Blake’s vendors started with the letter B, too. And one day, their children’s names will also! Brooke and her photographer, Brittany (Brittany Partain Photography) especially stood out to Blaire. They made her day so special, and Blaire wouldn’t have had it any other way! From her un-B-lievable vendor team, to her friends and family, Blaire couldn’t be more grateful for everyone involved in her wedding day. It was so sweet for us to share such a meaningful day with Blaire + Blake!
To all future couples, Blaire recommends getting as much done at the beginning of your engagement as possible. The time goes quickly! One moment your significant other is down on a knee proposing, and the next you’re walking down the aisle! Blaire says to focus on what is important, and stick to what you want. We couldn’t agree more! It’s your wedding day, so all details should be important to you – the couple! Your guests won’t even notice if you don’t take their suggestions. Add all the things that make you happy, and leave out the ones that don’t. As Blaire says, “Make your day all about you and your special someone!”

“Her name started with a B so I knew [Bianca] was great already!!! My mom and I had no idea what to do, where to start, and how to even prepare for an event like this. My mom and I were figuring it out, and about half way through the engagement about 4 months (I think) before the wedding, we found Bianca. And let me tell you she got more stuff done for us in the first month than we could ever do in a year. She was definitely our rock in this process. I would use her all over again! Loved her like she was another sister to me!
I truly didn’t know what to expect coming into the process of planning a wedding but as soon as [Bianca] took over for me. It was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders because I had no idea what I was missing or what I was even doing. Bianca helped me make a timeline to pick things out. She talked to all my vendors for me because I literally had no time to talk to anyone between being home and being at work. And I was definitely pushing stuff back because I felt like I had enough time. Yeah big mistake! Lol but Bianca made sure I had everything done before my wedding and I couldn’t have imagined a better day with her!! I love her!!”
