If you’ve attended a wedding before, you may have noticed “signature drinks” as a part of the drink menu. This is an easy way for the bride and groom to share their personality and favorite drink choices with their guests for the night. You can pair your signature drinks with beer or wine choices for the night to make your open bar selection more affordable and fun.
Here is an easy Mojito recipe, which is light and refreshing, making it the perfect drink for your upcoming Summer festivities.

Club soda or sparkling water (I made mine with club soda)
Fresh mint leaves
Cream of Coconut
- For 1 servings: combine 8 fresh mint leaves, 1 lime juiced, 1 to 2 tsp of sugar and 1 oz of Cream of Coconut.
- Once you’ve add all those ingredients, with a wooden muddler or the back of a spoon (because honestly who has a muddler at home) press and gently twist the mint leaves against the side of your glass. You will start to smell the fragrance of the mint, stop when the leaves are bruised, but not yet torn. Tearing the leaves may cause the drink to taste bitter.
- Add 3oz of white rum, then fill the glass with ice about 3/4 full with ice
- Fill the rest of the glass with club soda or sparking water, and stir all ingredients.
Feel free to garnish your drink with a lime wedge and coconut shavings.
Enjoy and drink responsibly!
